Yes. You can start on app.buzzy.buzz for free and build manually with the Figma plugin or Buzzy's no-code tools without using paid AI credits. You can also bring your own OpenAI API key for supported AI workflows.
When do I need to buy AI credits?
You only need AI credits when you ask Buzzy AI to help generate or iterate an app using Buzzy-managed AI. If you use a supported bring-your-own OpenAI API key workflow, those OpenAI charges run through your own key instead.
Why don't you include free AI credits anymore?
Free AI credits created significant LLM usage from people who were only experimenting, which pushed costs onto paying customers. Keeping manual Figma and no-code building free, while charging for Buzzy-managed AI usage or letting you bring your own OpenAI API key, is fairer for everyone.
How much does AI typically cost for a new app?
It depends on the app and the quality of your prompt, but many users can get an initial brief, data model, blueprint, and a few starting screens such as a home screen for less than $5 in AI credits. More iteration costs more, so clear prompts help keep usage down.
Are used AI credits refundable?
No. Any AI credits you use are non-refundable. AI can make mistakes, and output quality depends heavily on the quality of your prompt. Buzzy's objective is to get you the best possible output for your tokens, but you should review, test, and iterate on AI-generated results.
Are AI credit charges profit-driven?
No. AI credits are designed to cover the underlying LLM provider charges plus a small processing fee for transaction costs. Buzzy keeps this transparent and may adjust the model as provider pricing changes.
Can I use my own OpenAI API with Buzzy's Figma plugin?
Yes. With the Figma plugin, you can opt to use your own OpenAI API key. For Automarkup, you will need access to the o1-preview model.
Why use dollar-based AI credits?
Different apps use different amounts of AI. Dollar-based credits are easier to understand than usage bundles, and they let light and heavy users buy only the AI capacity they need.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Paid deployment subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through Stripe from your Buzzy Workspace.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Log in to the Buzzy Workspace, open profile and account management from the profile icon, then use the active subscription link to manage or cancel via Stripe.
